~Making Room For DVD's

MAKING ROOM FOR DVD'S

Hmmm, just one minute ago I was so keen on writing a post, but I can't seem to remember why now. I guess in that short amount of time, while I went to the bathroom, I started thinking about something else... possibly much more productive, I could be doing right now, so all my enthusiasm for blogging just flew out the window... or should I say I flushed it?

Yes, that is a great testament to my incredibly short attention span, but what can I say. When your whole life is movies, TV, and computers, you really don't need an attention span longer than 2 hours, or in my case 3 hours, which is how long it would take to sit and watch a Lord Of The Rings movie. I guess over the years my attention span just adapted to what my interests were... who says an old dog can't learn new tricks? Just call me Fido. (I only ask that the new trick not take longer than 3 hours to learn, otherwise I might get cranky and bite you!)

Normally around this time, I'd be writing while an episode of Forensic Files (or some such show) is playing on the TV in the background, but not tonight. Tonight I'm listening to A Stroke of Midnight on MP3 over my DVD player, which is hooked up to my stereo. So that means that I'm not writing, because listening to another book would throw off my writing, not that it is spectacular even when it does have my total concentration or anything. I mainly write to keep sane... great outlet.

Anyhow, I have to find a way to fit my newly acquired DVD's onto my shelves that hold my DVD's, and some of my CD's.

When I first bought the black bookcase/shelf, I had mostly CD's in it and maybe 20 DVD's at the most, but over the past year, I've had to take out three whole shelves of CD's to make room for my DVD's, and put my CD's back in my towers that I had stowed away in the closet.

Yes, I am aware that no one but me is interested in this crap... I guess I'm just silly that way. arf-arf... arf
